Not only do we offer a top-class golfing experience here at Otago Golf Club, we also offer a wide range of venues for various functions. Whether you are planning a conference, training seminar, meeting, trade show, wedding reception, Christmas or birthday party, wakes, or funerals, we have the perfect space for you.

Our clubhouse features three private function rooms, each with its own unique charm, and is able to accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 150 guests. Our club rooms are perfect for large-scale events, while our smaller spaces are ideal for more intimate gatherings.

Our clubhouse lounge offers breath-taking views of the course and can be separated into smaller spaces, providing a comfortable atmosphere for all types of events. Moreover, we offer ample free parking on-site, making it convenient for your guests to attend.

We are conveniently located only 10 minutes' drive from the city centre, making it easily accessible for all attendees. We are also equipped with video and conference equipment, which can be supplied to meet your event needs.

Venue and Function Room Hire

The following are the standard charges for your next function, conference, meeting and seminar.

The Howden Lounge
Seating 50-150
Hire $545 (Monday to Friday)
$935 (weekend)

Please note, for an excess of 120 guests there is an additional cost.

 
The Glen Lounge
Seating 15-40
Hire $395 (Monday to Friday)
$595 (weekend)
 
The Beth Anderson Lounge
Seating 10-20
Hire $160 (Monday to Friday)

Hire includes all tables, chairs, table linen, crockery, glassware and cutlery, whiteboards, data projector and screen. Extra equipment is available on request.

 
Catering

Clubhouse catering offers a wide and delicious array of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For all functions we can arrange a fare to meet your catering and budget requirements. Selections of menu prices are as follows:

Business Breakfast from $27.50 per person
Morning Tea from $12.50 per person
Business Lunch from $23 per person
Cocktail Menu from $21 per person
Buffet Menu from $40 per person
 
Weddings

Looking for a wedding venue which can comfortably accommodate up to 130 seated guests. The Howden Lounge has a fully licensed bar with parquet dance floor. Side doors lead out onto a private deck, which overlooks the beautiful and picturesque golf course.

Hire charges for weddings:

Seating 70-130pax
Venue hire $935
Deposit $500 (non-refundable)

Hire includes all tables, chairs, table linen, crockery, glassware and cutlery. Service staff is included.
